CFP Movie in the Park
Centralia Friends of the Park hosted 2 Movie in the Park Events during the summer of 2012. Each of these events were free to the public and brought a good size crowd to downtown Centralia. The June movie was Kung Fu Panda 2 and brought about 150 people, and the Lorax played in August bringing over 250 people.

CFP - Ladies Night Out Donation Baskets
The Centralia Friends of the Park hosted a Ladies Night Out fundrasing event at Carlan's Restaurant on November 14, 2011. In addition to silent auction baskets, raffle tickets were sold for many gift baskets as well as for a 50/50 drawing. Pictured here are some of the generous donations that helped to make Ladies Night Out a great success.

Pink Panthers from C-Town
Mandy Hunter, Kendra West and Casey Gallegos from Centralia walked 60 miles in San Diego, California, in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure. The group raised a combined total of $6900.00 to be able to walk in honor of those who have battled, and those who will battle, breast cancer.

Preschool Recreation Hour
The Centralia Parks and Recreation department sponsors a preschool recreation hour under the direction of Krissi Davenport on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Pictured here with Krissi are some of the kids who participate in this program.

Kids Club - Wii
Pictured here are kids enjoying the use of a Wii gaming system that is available for use at the Centralia Recreation Center during Kids' Club hours. The Kids' Club at the Centralia Recreation Center is supervised by adults with the Centralia Parks and Recreation Department.
