Rec Center Gym Closed
The Centralia Friends of the Park will be using the Recreation Center gym for the next two months for basketball practices and games. Schedules are available at the front desk of the Rec Center. Both courts will be closed Saturday, Feburary 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

City Hall will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2012, in observance of President's Day. Monday's trash route will be picked up on the following Tuesday.

CFP - Basket Bingo Fundraiser
The Centralia Friends of the Park will host a Basket Bingo fundraiser at the Centralia Recreation Center on Saturday, March 17, 2012. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with games beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets are on sale now for $20, and each attendee will receive 20 sheets of 9 bingo cards. Additional cards, bingo daubers, 50/50 raffle tickets and concessions will be available at the event.

Historic Site Dedication
The Boone County Historical Society will be hosting an Historic Site Dedication at 2:00 p.m. on May 6, 2012, for 220 N Allen Street, Centralia, Missouri. A reception will follow the dedication.

The 3rd annual Anchor City Cook-Off will be held October 19 & 20, 2012. This is a KCBS sanctioned event.
