The Public Safety & General Government committee meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2016.
May 10, 2016 CFP Monthly Meeting

The Centralia Friends of the Park monthly meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Centralia Recreation Center.

May 14, 2016 CFP Monthly Bingo
Centralia Friends of the Park & Centralia Senior Center will offer monthly bingo on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Games will be played the 2nd Saturday of each month. Bingo packets will cost $20 for 20 games, and include 9 cards per sheet. Extra cards will be available to purchase. Cash prizes will be awarded for each game. Concessions will also be available.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Early-bird game begins at 5:30 p.m. Regular games begin at 6 p.m.

The regular Board of Aldermen meeting will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

The Centralia Park Board will meet at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, in the Conference room at the Centralia Recreation Center, 802 W Lakeview.
May 26, 2016 Avenue of Flags Raised - Volunteers Needed
The Avenue of Flags will again be proudly displayed during the Memorial Holiday at the Centralia City Cemetery. The flags will be raised, weather permitting*, on Monday, May 26, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. and will be lowered on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.

There will be at least 417 flags on display, and volunteers are needed to raise and/or lower the flags. Please meet at the VFW & American Legion Memorial & Flag Display at 4:45 p.m. to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and sing the National Anthem before setting up the display.

We are asking all volunteers to please park on the side streets along the cemetery instead of in the cemetery to allow room for the truck and trailer to drop the poles for the flags. Your help and support would greatly be appreciated.

May 28, 2016 Open House and Free Swim
There will be an open house and free swim on Saturday, May 28, 2016, from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Centralia Municipal Swimming Pool located on Booth Street. This will be a great chance to tour and try out the upgraded pool facilities!

City offices & departments will be closed on Monday, May 30, 2016, in observance of Memorial Day. Monday's trash route will be picked up on Tuesday, May 31st.
