03/20/2010	Fundraiser - Susan G. Komen for the Cure A local group of Centralians will be helping to raise funds to help with Susan G. Komen for the Cure through their "Tips for the Tatas" campaign at Good Time Jo's on Saturday, March 20, 2010. All tips collected from 5 p.m. - close will go towards breast cancer research. If you are unable to attend this event but would like to donate to this group, contact Mandy Hunter at (573) 881-4188, or visit the event website at www.the3day.org and click "Donate to a Participant" and search for "Mandy Hunter". 04/20/2010	Friends of Park Meeting The Centralia Friends of the Park will be meeting at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Centralia Recreation Center located on Lakeview Street.
04/24/2010	Fundraiser - Susan G. Komen for the Cure A local group of Centralians will be helping to raise funds to help with Susan G. Komen for the Cure through a benefit yard sale on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Community Room next to City Hall and the Police Department. All proceeds collected will go towards breast cancer research. 05/31/2010	City Hall Closed Centralia City Offices will be closed Monday, May 31, 2010, in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday, and will reopen for regular business hours Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Trash routes for Monday will be picked up on Tuesday, June 1, 2010.
06/04/2010	Anchor Festival The 2010 Anchor Festival will be held in Centralia Friday, June 4th through Sunday June 6th. Check back for more information as it becomes available. 07/12/2010	Vacation Bible School - Parkview Christian Church The annual Vacation Bible School with Parkview Christian Church will be help July 12 - 16, from 8:30 - noon at the church, located at 120 Gano Chance Road, Centralia, MO. Registration is going on now through the church web site. This year's theme is "High Seas Expedition", and all children from preschool through completed 5th grade are invited to attend. Look for the Parkview VBS float in the Anchor Fest Parade on June 4, 2010.
