Kathy Colvin currently serves in the part-time capacity of Senior Financial Officer and City Collector for the City of Centralia. She served in the position of city clerk from 1993 through 2011, and has a total of 19 years experience in city government as well as 10 years banking and clerical experience. She has lived in Centralia all her life and is a graduate of Centralia High School. Kathy is a member of the Missouri City Clerk's and Finance Officers Association as well as the International Institute of Municipal City Clerks. She has received certification as a Missouri Registered City Clerk and continues her education through these organizations. Kathy handles all the financial reporting for the city including the City audit in her capacity as both Senior Financial Officer and City Collector. As City Collector, Kathy also processes tax collections and animal licensing. Kathy is married to Mike Colvin. They have two grown daughters and two grandchildren.

City Treasurer

William (Bill) Miller has served as the city’s treasurer since 1971.  In his capacity as city treasurer he reconciles the city’s bank accounts to the city’s general ledger each month.  He prepares the monthly city treasurer’s report for the Board of Aldermen showing the fund balance of each respective fund.  The city treasurer’s role is very important to the city’s accounting system as he is an independent review of the monthly accounting of the city funds.
