Friends of the Park Centralia Friends of the Park (CFP), a Missouri non-profit corporation, is a volunteer citizens organization whose primary goal is to provide fund raising, financial assistance, and general support to the Centralia Park Board of Directors for special projects that are beyond the financial scope of the City or Park Board. The citizen volunteers with the CFP are diverse in their professional backgrounds and mirror the community.
The current focus of the Centralia Friends of the Park is raising funds for a new Centralia Recreation Center located at Nathan A. Toalson Bicentennial Park at 802 West Lakeview Street. If this is something you would like to do, we would appreciate your donation. Each dollar you send provides fitness and future health to thousands of Northern Boone and Western Audrain County residents. I hope we can count on you to help. The CFP is open to any citizen interested in community betterment through our parks system. Meetings are scheduled on the third Tuesday of every month, beginning at 6:00 PM, in the conference room at the Centralia Recreation Center and are open to the public.
