General Information for 2011

The swimming season will be from Memorial Day, May 30th through Labor Day, Sept. 5th.

Swimming pool will only be open on weekends after school starts on August 18th.
Our 25 meter pool has a swimming area, three slides, two diving boards, and a wading pool.
A concession stand is available with a variety of snacks.
The Municipal Swimming Pool is a smoke free facility.

Daily Swimming Hours

Mon - Wed - Thurs - Sat - Sun 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Tues and Fri 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Pool can be closed due to weather conditions or a low number of swimmers at the Pool Managers discretion. It will also be closed to the public when hosting swim meets.

Swimming Pool Fees

Daily Admission: Adult (15 & over) $3.50
Child (14 & under) $2.50
Child age 2 and under admitted free with a paid adult admission
(all passes and swim cards are excluded)
Adult 60 years and older admitted free with a paid child admission
(all passes and swim cards are excluded)

Household Pass: Unlimited entries for those listed on the pass

$140 - 4 people or less in household

$150 - 5 people in household

$160 - 6 people in household

$170 - 7 people in household

$180 - 8 people in household

Individual Pass: $80.00 (Unlimited entries to one individual named at purchase)

Adult Swim Card: $55.00 for 20 entries
Child Swim Card: $40.00 for 20 entries

All passes and swim cards must be purchased at Centralia Recreation Center, 802 W. Lakeview

Red Cross Swimming Lessons

Swimming Lessons are available throughout the season. Please call the Park Department Office at 573-682-5063 or Swimming Pool for dates and times of sessions.

Cost:

$40 for first family member

$35 for second sibling

$30 for third sibling and each additional sibling added

Lifeguard class: $78

Lifeguard re-certification including CPR: $25

CPR certification: $10

Swim Team

The Centralia Hurricanes Swim Team is a member of the Mid-Missouri Swim Conference. Please call the Park Department Office for information about joining our swim team.

Cost:

$40 for first family member

$35 for second sibling

$30 for third sibling and each additional sibling added

Diving Club Fees/Hours

Cost: $30 per diver -

Beginning Tuesday, June 2, 2011, practices will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and on Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Please contact the Park Department Office at (573) 682-5063 for more information about the diving club.

Private Parties

A private swim party can be scheduled through the Park Department Office.

The fee for a 2 hour private party held from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. is:

• 75 people and under: $125
• 76 to 125 people: $150
• 126 people and up: $175

There is a $30 deposit due at the time of scheduling the party. No private parties will be booked after school starts on August 18th.
