Centralia is the 2nd largest city in Boone County, after the county seat of Columbia. Centralia has a population of 3,800 and is nestled in Northern Boone County, right along the Audrain County line. We have 4 city parks, 4 schools, a large summer festival and great citizens.

The official 10-year US Census will occur on April 1, 2010. The federal government will mail census forms to each house in February/March 2010. It's important that Centralians complete & return the form. Accurate population counts for the census are critical. The City of Centralia, Boone County & the Census Bureau ask you to participate & "Be Counted".
