On Monday August 19, 2019 the Board of Aldermen voted to change the times that utility services will be reconnected.
The time frame for after-hours reconnection of Water and/or Electric services shall be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sunday and City-observed holidays. After-hours reconnections will only occur once the City has received payment of the original bill, after-hours disconnection fees as outlined above, and other fees according to Centralia City Code, Chapter 26-112. If after 7:00 p.m., the Centralia Police Department may call-out a member of the Water or Electric Dept. for customers aged sixty-five years or older or disabled customers who would be put at physical risk without utilities.
