The City cemetery is located along highway 22, between North Rollins and North Jefferson streets, and expands over about 16 acres. The City contracts for mowing of the cemetery for a period of three years, and requests for bids for mowing services will be posted here when the need arises.
Decisions regarding the cemetery are recommended to the Board of Aldermen through the Cemetery Advisory Committee. The committee members serve three year terms, effective May 1st.

Decorations are allowed on grave sites from November 1st through February 28th. From March 1st through October 31st, only decorations attached to the monument are allowed due to mowing.
